Roy Keane left laughing as Theo Walcott mocked by Micah Richards during Mohamed Salah analysis

Theo Walcott was brutally mocked by Michah Richards at half-time of Liverpool’s match against Brighton.

The former Arsenal player was assessing Mohamed Salah’s missed chances in the opening 45 minutes of the Reds’ 2-1 win over the Seagulls when he became Richards’ target.

Salah had seven shots in the first half without success, but it was one goal in particular that led to the rally.

Dominik Szoboszlai slipped the Egyptian striker through on goal, and he slotted a tame first-time effort straight at Bart Verbruggen.

Speaking on Aerial sports Above the clip, Walcott said: “That’s when Mo Salah is at his best when he’s leaking deep.

“You can see what he’s trying to do, but once again he’s failing.”

Super Sunday host David Jones then asked the former England striker to expand on his comment.

Walcott joked: “He’s trying to do a Theo Walcott finish.”

Richards interrupted and stopped his fellow presenter, saying: “He finished Theo Walcott.”

This caused huge laughs from everyone in the studio, even Roy Keane was laughing.

Sure, it was a brutal reprimand, but it was intended and received as a joke.

Outside the studio, Salah finally found his shooting boots in the second half, scoring what proved to be the winner.

Alexis Mac Allister played a pass to him in the box and, with his favored left foot, he fired a low shot into the bottom corner.

This victory temporarily places the Reds at the top of the Premier League table ahead of the clash between Manchester City and Arsenal.

Brighton actually opened the scoring against Jurgen Klopp’s men at Anfield inside the first two minutes thanks to an excellent strike from Danny Welbeck.
