Roseanne Barr “drops bars” in bizarre pro-Trump music video that attacks rapper Eminem.
THE videoreleased yesterday, features Canadian rappers Tom MacDonald and Barr, dancing while decked out in braids and oversized gold chains (the kind of aesthetic choices for which members of the black community have often been condemned). If you had a dollar for every “Make America Great Again” hat in sight, you’d be well on your way to early retirement.
The song, titled “Daddy’s Home,” is filled with lyrics meant to taunt voters who supported Vice President Kamala Harris and found the post-election result disappointing. Then Barr catapults into a rap verse of his own while turning off the camera.
“They’re trying to cancel me and saying I’m racist,” the actor said. “I have a nasty hook, they can’t catch me with this jam.” I’m trying to take away the right to say that. Well, listen, because this grandmother is in trouble.
Barr then goes out of his weight class and attacks Eminem: “Who cares about Eminem, my name is Roseanne.”
Longtime Trump supporter Barr has never been afraid of controversy or bold political fashion statements. In 2023, she showed up at one of his rallies at dawn jacket she said her friend made — which depicted Trump as a matador, riding a bull, with an American flag.
“Trump is the MAGAdor,” she said. “Yeah, and it’s that deep state bull.”
After the video made its way onto social media, users of X, formerly Twitter, were quick to offer their views. A user noticed“Roseanne jumped on the runaway train and drove it off a cliff.
“I saw that Roseanne video and I am completely speechless. I didn’t think it was possible anymore, but here I am without a word to describe what I just watched,” another person wrote.
