Rosamund Pike says that his hearing for “Die Another Day” almost went too far.
In a recent sitting with Harper’s Bazaar Uk, Pike, who played Miranda Frost in the film Bond 2002, said that he was asked to undress at his underwear during the hearing for the film.
“In Bond’s hearing, I was asked to decompress and drop the dress I wore, stay there in underwear,” said Pike. “And I said to myself:” Well, no, I will do that if I get the play. I won’t do that now. I don’t know whats owned me.
Despite the disagreement, Pike continued to play alongside Pierce Brosnan in “Die Another Day”. In the film, Miranda Frost by Pike, a Harvard graduate and an Olympic shooter, disguises himself as a colleague from Mi6, to be revealed later as a double agent. In the peak of the film, she is withdrawn by another emblematic Bond girl, Jinx Johnson, played by Halle Berry.
In a separate interview with David Tennant on his “David Tennant made a podcast with”, she recalled an embarrassing moment while turning an intimate scene opposite Brosnan.
“We have this melee, then we separate, and I look at this body strip and the nipple lids and they are covered with hair,” recalls Pike. “And I think:” Oh my God, I put to the hair removal of Pierce’s chest. “”
She continued: “I was so mortified. I said to myself, “Oh my God, he is so courageous, and I get my hair out of the chest with each embrace. And of course, it took some sockets to realize that it was not him.
