Ronda Rousey breaks down in tears as she reveals two miscarriages in 2019

Ronda Rousey broke down in tears while speaking about her fertility heartbreak, revealing that she suffered two miscarriages while still competing in professional wrestling in 2019.

The 38-year-old, also known as “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” in the world of WWE and UFC, seemed emotional as she remembered her first miscarriage five years ago, as she stated that she had become pregnant a week before filming an episode. from 9-1-1, where she almost lost a finger while performing her own stunts.

“I found out I was pregnant right before the show started filming, and then my finger was cut when a boat door fell on it. We went to check, the baby seemed fine, but I I had a miscarriage a few weeks later, Rousey said during an episode of Diary of a CEO earlier this month.

Rousey, who shares a daughter, La’akea, with veteran Travis Browne, added that she hit an all-time high between the two miscarriages, as she struggled to come to terms with her first.

Rousey, 37, has been married to former UFC fighter Travis Browne since 2017. The couple hopes to have more children in the near future.

“I was just depressed, drinking and smoking and not taking care of myself, and then I got pregnant right away, and we never saw a heartbeat that time,” the woman said. 2008 Olympic bronze medalist about her second miscarriage.

Rousey and Browne, who married in 2017, are trying to have more children after welcoming La’akea in 2001. But the former bantamweight champion is still experiencing ups and downs in her ongoing IVF journey .

“I went through IVF, four rounds of IVF to be able to get eight embryos because we wanted to have three or four kids,” Rousey said. “And the first one we used actually worked!” She’s, you know, La’akea, my daughter now.

“But yeah, we’re in the process of doing it right now, and I found out yesterday that our first cycle didn’t work out.”

A procedure that involves multiple cycles of two weeks or more, IVF increases a woman’s chances of pregnancy, although Rousey has described her fertilization process as difficult.

“It’s hard,” she said. “It’s difficult for anyone going through this, and people don’t talk about it. But you know, it’s hard because we have so much hope every time. And yes, I don’t know. I’ll just have to wait until this book tour is over to try again. But I was really hoping to be pregnant today…

“But, you know, it’s the kind of thing that no one talks about. This is how many women think they are going through this alone. But it’s really very common. But it’s really, really hard when things don’t work out.
