Roger Goodell: Prohibit pushing and pulling players beyond Tash’s push is logical

The NFL has not prohibited Tush’s push at the League meeting today, but it could soon Prohibit all the games in which players are pushed and drawn by other players.

The NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said that a wider discussion would take place to make players illegal and apply the existing rule more strictly against draw players, before the next League meeting.

“I think that makes sense in many ways, because it extends beyond this unique game,” said Goodell. “There are a lot of pieces where you see people pushing or shooting someone who is not in the tash push formation which, I think, presents an increased risk of injury. I therefore think that the committee will examine this and return in May with certain proposals. ”

A wider change in rule that applies to other games can be more pleasant to taste because it would not seem to distinguish Eagles simply because they make TUSH pushes so much better than any other team. But it would always be bad news for the Eagles if a wider rule takes the boost of the NFL.
