In a shocking statement to Brighton, De Zerbi said: “I am very sad to leave Brighton, but I am very proud of what my players and my team have achieved with the support of everyone at the club and our incredible fans over the past two historic years. seasons.

De Zerbi has been linked with several top European clubs, including AC Milan and Bayern Munich, but he is yet to confirm his next move.

Brighton face Manchester United at the Amex Stadium in their final match of the 2023/24 campaign on Sunday.
