Rio Ferdinand slams Arsenal for ‘folding like a pack of cards’ to allow possible Man City treble

With the Premier League and FA Cup already over, Pep Guardiola’s side will face Inter Milan in the Champions League final on Saturday night.
United were lucky enough to stop City in the FA Cup final but suffered a 2-1 defeat at Wembley.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have spent 248 days at the top of the Premier League table, longer than any team in history without winning it.
Despite United’s missed chance, former defender Ferdinand believes the Gunners are responsible for putting City on the brink of history.

Speaking on the VIBE with FIVE podcast, Ferdinand said: “It was your job, you were ahead 93% of the time.
“You were in a prime position to do so, and you folded like a deck of cards.”
Asked about United’s defeat in the FA Cup final, Ferdinand insisted Erik ten Hag’s side had never had a chance.
He added: “It was over before it started.

“They’re the best team, they’ve been together a lot longer, they’re in a vein of rich form.”
