Hayward – A motorized cyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle on Friday morning in Hayward, police announced.
The accident occurred around 10:20 am near the intersection of Depot Road and Adrian Avenue, according to the Hayward police service. The police arrived to find the rider, identified as a 64 -year -old Hayward man, suffering from collision -related injuries.
The man was taken to a hospital in the region, where he was declared dead. His identity was not published on Friday.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured in the accident. Police said he stopped on the scene and cooperated in the investigation.
The collision is investigated, but the police said that neither alcohol nor drugs are a factor.
