Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) said this week on “Fox News Sunday” that President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. , was “wrong” about the effectiveness. and side effects of vaccinations.
Guest moderator Jacqui Heinrich said, “Your committee will oversee RFK Jr.’s hearing. And there are reports that Democratic Senators John Fetterman and Bernie Sanders may give him a nod of support.” How is RFK Jr. doing among the Democrats on your committee? »
Cassidy said: “I didn’t talk to him about it. I just don’t know. I will meet him next week. I’m looking forward to the interview. I agree with him on some things and disagree on others. There is food security. I think ultra-processed foods are a problem. Vaccinations, he is wrong. And so-and-so, I’m just looking forward to having a good dialogue with him about this.
