Ruud Van Nistelrooy thinks that Leicester should build their promotion campaign around local players next season – whether in charge.
The Dutchman faces Crunch talks on his future in the coming days after the home defeat 1-0 last Sunday by Liverpool assured that the disastrous Foxes campaign would end with relegation.
Although Van Nistelrooy is far from being sure to lead Leicester in the championship, he has a clear vision of the way they should get.
One of the rare positive aspects of the season was the emergence of striker Large Jeremy Monga, who made two Premier League appearances even if he was not 16 before July.
Monga cannot sign professional conditions before the age of 17 and, as Mail Sport reported it in February, he was courted by several elite clubs, Manchester City and Chelsea demonstrating a particularly strong interest.
However, Monga is not the only one. The young striker Jake Evans made his debut as a late substitute during the 2-2 draw in Brighton on April 12 and has considerable promises.

Jeremy Monga is considered one of the best stars to emerge from the Leicester Academy

Luke Thomas and Kasey McATEER would be regulars of the first team ideal in a championship campaign while another product of the Academy, Hamza Choudhury, is currently ready in Sheffield United but is under contract with Leicester until 2027.
Will Alves and Ben Nelson respectively carry out loan spells with Cardiff and Oxford who should leave them well equipped to play a leading role for the next mandate.
Leicester must also resolve the future of several senior players.
Jamie Vardy is out of contract in the summer and a decision to know if he will sign a new one is scheduled before the end of the season.
