When Becky Lynch returned to WWE following an prolonged absence that really felt like it could continue forever, she quickly found herself as champion alongside the old friend Lyra Valkyria. They won the gold team at Wrestlemania 41 But lost these titles back to Liv Morgan and Rodriguez the next evening Monday evening gross.
It was at this point that Lynch broke, attacking Valkyria and finally revealed that she was she who took Bayley out of the photo and she was annoyed against Lyra to always team up with her. My enemy’s friend is my enemy and all that.
Everything led to Backlash In St. Louis this evening (Saturday May 10, 2025) and an intercontinental championship match.
Lynch became a little disturbed during said match:
The story they told was that Valkyria survived everything that the cunning veteran launched to him, to the point that Lynch went outside to get a folding chair. The referee prevented him from using it, withdraw and throw it away. While she did, Lynch exhibited the upper tensioner in the area.
The referee noticed it in the worst moment, trying to repair it while Valkyria apparently won the match and did not get the account quickly. Even later, Lynch has cheated again with a glance, but Lyra still managed to remove it to mark the fall anyway.
Afterwards, Lynch beat her and left her a waste in the ring, requiring WWE staff to drag her. She also seemed to undergo a kind of nose injury, by comment.
But, the important note – “Lyra Valkyria has arrived.”
