The WWE revival of the main Saturday evening event continued this weekend at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. The 39th episode of the event – and third since WWE brought him back in December 2024 – presented five games, including John Cena’s last judgment during his retirement tour.
The first surprise of the night arrived early while Bronson Reed made his return from injury to join the Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman Faction. Reed withdrew CM Punk during his first action since he underwent a broken ankle in the War Game match at the Survivor series last November.

After being added to the main Saturday evening card in the episode of “Smackdown” on Saturday evening, Zelina Vega has kept her female United States championship against Chelsea Green, apparently implementing the presence of the latter in this title photo.
CENA, who has kept her undisputed WWE championship earlier this month at WWE Backlash 2025 with the help of R-TRUTH, faced her involuntary benefactor in a titleless match. The match was brief, but entertaining, offering exactly what was necessary with Cena’s victory.
The last chapter of the current rivalry and increasingly violent between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest was also written, this time in a steel cage. The priest left Tampa victorious after an impressive match with McIntyre. It remains to be seen if it is the end of their battle, but there is undeniably the chemistry between the two.
Finally, during the main event of the evening, Jey USO successfully defended his world WWE heavyweight championship against Logan Paul. The match presented interference from Cena, which opened the door for the biggest return of the night: Cody Rhodes. Rhodes announced that Cena and Paul would join him and USO in Money in the Bank in two weeks.

Here are the results, the notes and the analysis of the main Saturday evening event:
Jey USO DEF. Logan Paul in 9:47 to keep the world heavyweight championship
-
Best place: Return from Cody Rhodes
-
Analysis: In my predictions from the front-time, I suggested that we would see the next opponent to settle in his match with R-Truth. If we classify the predictions, I think I would get partial credit. By reflecting on how I wanted to note this match, I focused more on the progress of the scenario than in the real action in the ring, which was solid, but I was inevitably overshadowed by the return of Rhodes and the implementation for the tag team competition between him and USO against Cena and Paul at Money in the Bank. The teasing of Cena interfering earlier in the night was very well done and associating him with Paul works very well while we build towards an inevitable revenge of the main event of Wrestlemania 41.
Damian priest def. Drew McIntyre in 12:23
-
Best place: McIntyre superplexing priest in the ring
-
Analysis: Although we have seen Priest and McIntyre arguing forever, chemistry and talent between these two allow everything to appear as fresh. The arrival here – the winning priest with a vicious con -chair looked at the end of this program – and perhaps represented a little turn for the priest in the sense that he is a larger and more violent player who goes on the card “WWE Smackdown”. We still have four indecisive banking places of bank and you could make a very solid argument for the priest deserving one of them and potentially become a double trunk winner.
John Cena Def. R-Truth in 4:23
-
Best place: R-Truth entrance
-
Analysis: The construction here was ridiculous – in the right direction – and the match was exactly what it should be. R-Truth remains one of the most remarkably entertaining talents in WWE history and has provided real moments of laughter in the shortest match of the night. Cena’s actions later in the series will be what everyone is talking about rather than this match.
Zelina Vega Def. Chelsea Green in 5:09 to keep her female United States championship
-
Best place: Red Vega Avalanche Code
-
Analysis: Solid – Although Brief – An action here, but ultimately the biggest point to remember is that the photo of the United States female championship needs an injection of a renowned name star established to raise it in a similar way to what Becky Lynch did with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on “WWE RAW”. I do not see how green can remain involved here, which is regrettable because it has developed a character and a character somewhat based on this specific championship image.
Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker Def. Sami Zayn and CM Punk in 13:13
-
Best place: Flying laundry
-
Analysis: An excellent start to the show, the four men shone and set up the most complete match of the night. Breakker does something that makes you go “Holy & ^ #%” whenever he works in the ring, Zayn can do wonders with anyone, and chemistry between Rollins and Punk is through the roof. The Bronson Reed back is a perfect adjustment for the Rollins / Breakker / Paul Heyman stable, even if it will take some explanation after the Tsunami assault reed is previously delivered to Rollins. This faction seems much more dangerous before the episode of Monday of “WWE RAW”.
