Restaurant review: Sao Thai – Politico

Atmosphere: The atmosphere is hot and dynamic while maintaining a sophisticated touch. High tables with swing chairs with elegant round tables in the center of the room, you have many options. It is the ideal place for a business lunch as well as for an intimate appointment evening.

Who picks up the check? Although more than an average Thai take point, experience is worth it. The appetizers range from 13 to 19 €, while the main dishes are price between 22 and 32 €. The water is expensive (€ 6.50), we recommend that you opt for a beautiful bottle of red wine at 32 € instead!

Funny fact: Sao is the name of the chef and, with her husband Leon and her son Beer, she heads the restaurant to share her passion for Thai culture and food with customers.

Initiate Council: Get out of your comfortable comfort zone and try something beyond the usual pad. You will not be disappointed!

How to get there? Located in one of the most elegant districts of Brussels – the Châtelain d’Ixelles district – at the corner of the American street and rue du Courrier. It is a 45-minute walk from Schuman or a 24-minute journey on Bus 60 to Uccle-Cévoet.
