The patriots were linked to the old LSU platform Will Campbell throughout the pre-transfic process and a report Thursday afternoon offers more reasons to think that it is a good bet to be the fourth overall choice.
Jeremy Fowler d’Espn report that members From the organization of the patriots went to Louisiana to meet Campbell in recent days. Campbell also met the team at its head office earlier this year.
Campbell has been an All-American in 2024 and has been in the past two years, but a doubt about his pro potential has been raised by the length of his arms. Campbell’s arms measured 33 inches, which is less than what is generally considered to be the minimum for what teams are looking for in tackle perspectives.
Campbell rejected the idea that the length of his arm will prevent him from succeeding in the pros. There have been many signs that the patriots agree with him and we will see if they confirm this Thursday evening.
