In a massive article detailing the latest rumors surrounding the draft of the NFL 2025, Adam Schefter d’Espn reported that eight teams were “interested in returning” during the first round of Thursday’s draft. Only one team, according to Schefter – The Broncos de Denver – seeks to go up.
Last week, Denver’s Brain Trust told the public that they thought that the 10th choice in total was almost equal to the 20th in the 39th choice of draft. The broncos holding the 20th choice in total in the draft, it seems that Denver tries to go very high in the project, on the basis of the Schefter reports.
According to Schefter, the teams who want to exchange are the Jacksonville jaguars (5th choice in total), Carolina Panthers (8th), San Francisco 49ers (11th), Atlanta Falcons (15th), Seattle Seahawks (19th), Pittsburgh Steelers (21st) and Minnesota Vikings (24th). Green Bay Packers are stuck between Steelers and Vikings, having the 23rd choice in total.
The Vikings have only four choices in the draft, but the number of recovery choices of which a team has is not necessarily in correlation with the interest of negotiating in the first round. For example, Seahawks have an additional second round choice in DK Metcalf’s trade and an additional third round choice in the trade of Geno Smith, but Schefter said that the team was still looking to add more choices.
Beyond the exchange of high choices for more choices, Schefter said that the following players could be moved this week via trade:
- Kirk cousins, QB, Falcons
- Will Levis, Qb, Titans
- Sam Howell, Qb, Seahawks
- Travis Etienne Jr., RB, Jaguars
- Rachaad White, RB, Buccaneers
- George Pickens, WR, Steelers
- Treylon Burks, WR, Titans
- Jalin Hyatt, WR, Giants
- Kayshon Boutte, WR, patriots
- Dallas Goedert, Te, Eagles
- Mark Andrews, Te, Ravens
- Evan Neal, OL, Giants
- Trey Hendrickson, Edge, Bengals
- Odafe Oweh, edge, crows
- Kayvon Thibodeaux, Edge, Giants
- Tyree Wilson, Edge, Raiders
- Jalen Ramsey, CB, Dolphins
- Jaire Alexander, CB, Packers
- Greg Newsome II, CB, Browns
A new name on this list is Odafe Oweh, who recorded two -digit bags with the Baltimore Ravens last season. Oweh should play on its fifth year option, which arrives at a price of $ 13.2 million in 2025. It is almost certainly due to a big salary during the offseason.
