Report: Drew McIntyre came out of Royal Rumble after the elimination that went wrong

Drew McIntyre was eliminated without ceremony by Damian Priest in men Royal Rumble match earlier this evening (Saturday, February 1, 2025) at Royal Rumble Premium event Live at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. It seemed to be a strange elimination that came out of nowhere in the hands of Damian Priest, with whom McIntyre does not currently have an active story, although they had problems in the past.

Now, a new PW Insider report says that McIntyre was furious at the way he was eliminated because he was going to have gone behind the scenes and made “cries and cursed” on the way in which “someone had to do His steps ”, even at the expense of the stories planned in the match. Then, at the same time, he left the building before the end of the match or the event.

This is a recurring theme now with McIntyre, which also stormed when CM Punk returned to WWE. This situation was constantly debated whether it was a work or a shoot, and finally it was transformed into a program on the screen that did big business for everyone.

It certainly feels like playing directly in the same idea, although it is not clear where it could go.
