FIRST ON FOX: Representative Ashley Hinson, R-Iowa, on Friday introduced legislation banning taxpayer money from paying for migrant flights into the interior of the United States amid continued outrage over Republicans’ practice .

The Stop the Betrayal Act of 2022 would prohibit the use of federal funds by the Department of Homeland Security or other agencies to transport illegal immigrants inside the country.

BORDER SHERIFFS SLAM BIDEN ADMIN’S COVERED TRANSPORTS OF CRIMINAL ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS: ‘WILLFUL NEGLIGENCE’

This would still allow funds to be used for deportations and immigration enforcement as well as transportation of unaccompanied children to health and human services (HHS) facilities.

The bill follows footage obtained by a Freedom of Information Act request from former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino that shows migrants being transported on overnight charter flights from Westchester, New York.

“It’s infuriating that the Biden administration is ferrying illegal immigrants into the United States in the dead of night, at taxpayer expense — they have no regard for the safety of our communities,” Hinson said. “Instead of securing our border by enforcing the policy of staying in Mexico, giving border patrol officers the resources they need, and completing the wall, the administration is pursuing a ‘capture and release’ policy and secretly sending immigrants illegals in the country with no way to track them.”

“I will introduce legislation to stop your paycheck from funding these secret flights carrying illegal immigrants to the United States,” she said.

The Biden administration has overseen a massive border crisis in his first year in office — something Republicans have blamed on the dramatic rollback of Trump-era policies, coupled with a reduction in domestic law enforcement and to a push for a mass amnesty. The Biden administration instead blamed “root causes,” such as poverty and corruption in Central America.

But with the end of policies designed to end “capture and release,” it means more migrants are being released into the United States and transported across the country.

LEAKED VIDEO SHOWS FEDERAL CONTRACTORS STEALING MIGRANTS TO NY SUBURBAN: ‘BETRAYING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE’

the 51 Minute Images of August the incident shows Westchester Police Sgt. Michael Hamborsky asked the federal contractors early in the morning about the thefts outside normal working hours and why local police have not received details.

“You’re in a secure facility here; we really don’t know anything and we’re in charge of security,” he told one of the contractors.

Another entrepreneur told Hamborsky: “Listen, my thing is, I like to conform, but technically we’re not supposed to show ID or anything. Like I said , everything is supposed to be quiet.”

Hamborsky asked a contractor why he came to the suburb of Westchester, about 35 miles from New York.

“You don’t want to be in the spotlight,” replied the entrepreneur. “You want to try to be as low as possible. A lot of things are just low stuff that we don’t say to people because what we don’t want to do is draw attention. We don’t want that the media. Like we don’t even know where we’re going when they tell us.”
