The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced several class 1 reminders, the highest level of risk, for various food products sold in several states, including Oregon and Washington. These reminders are mainly due to potential contamination or unsuccessful allergens.
Braga Fresh, an self-proclaimed organic farming company, voluntarily recalled specific bags of 12 ounces of broccoli markets sold in Walmart locations in 20 states, including Oregon, Washington, California and the Tri-State region.
The recall is due to potential contamination with Listeria Monocytogenes. The affected broccoli, marked with the UPC code “6 81131 32884 5” and the Lot code “BFFG327A6”, has a date of December 10.
Although the product is no longer available on the shelves, some customers can always have it in their freezers.
Braga Fresh advised consumers not to consume the product and throw it away. “This voluntary advice does not apply to any other product produced on the market or to Braga,” said the company. As of December 27, no disease was reported.

In a separate reminder, Froto-Lay recalled that the bags of pose crustles sold in Oregon and Washington due to an unconceived milk, according to an consumer contact alert.
The FDA issued a class 1 alert for this recall. “Those who suffer from an allergy or a serious sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or fatal allergic reaction if they consume the product recalled,” said a spokesperson for the FDA. Consumers are invited to immediately throw the product.
The bags recalled could have been bought from November 3, 2024, according to the FDA.
No other product, flavors, sizes or varieties of secular is recalled, said the FDA. So far, no allergic reaction linked to this recall has been reported.

In addition, the FDA has raised the recall of certain Cal Yee Farms chocolate products to class 1 status.
The recall, initially announced on December 12, implies dark chocolate nuts, almonds coated with yogurt and butter caramel, which can contain unconvolved allergens such as milk, soy, wheat, sesame, fd & c # 6 and almonds.
These products have been distributed in nine states, including Oregon, California and Arizona.
Cal Yee Farms said the recall had followed an Inspection of the FDA of their facilities. “No disease has been reported in the context of the products recalled,” said the company. Customers are advised to have products or return them for a full refund.

The FDA has also reclassified a reminder of the smoked salmon from the Signature brand in Kirkland, sold in Costco, to a class 1 reminder due to possible contamination by Listeria Monocytogenes.
The recall affects 111 cases of smoked salmon in twin packages of 12 ounces, with UPC 0 96619 25697 6, lot 8512801270 with the best on the date of 13/11/2024. Consumers who bought the product must throw it back or return it to Costco for a refund.
