Rebel Wilson reveals at what age she ‘truly experienced an orgasm for the first time’

She’s from Down Under, but never had much experience there.

Australian comedian and actress Rebel Wilson revealed in her recently released memoir, “Rebel Rising,” that she “actually experienced an orgasm for the first time” at the age of 39, according to People.

She did it on her own after listening to sex podcasts and buying toys intended for pleasure.

“Is this what I was missing? » she remembers thinking once she climaxed for the first time.

Wilson said she reached the big “O” after going on about 50 first dates and having sex with two of the people she was seeing. She dubbed this time in her life – during 2019 – her “Year of Love.” (She famously dubbed 2020 her “Year of Health” and lost 60 pounds.)

“I had never really heard of orgasms,” she explains in her book to explain her late blooming.

“When I had sex in recent years, I never really thought about my pleasure,” she explained. “It was more about the guy climaxing, and then pretty soon the sex was over.”

The “Pitch Perfect” actress added that while she had “experienced pleasure” at times, she had never climaxed like her male counterparts.

“…My research for my ‘Year of Love’ taught me that there is much more to sex than just getting the guy off,” she wrote. “I should have had an orgasm too. That should have been a priority.

Following her “Year of Love,” Wilson, 44, dated businessman Jacob Busch for several months between 2020 and 2021. Their split was confirmed in February 2021.

She later found love with fashion designer Ramona Agruma.

Page Six reported that they got engaged in November 2022. However, they didn’t announce the news until February 2023. By then, Wilson had already welcomed a baby girl via surrogate.

The “Senior Year” star also revealed on “Rebel Rising” that she lost her virginity at age 35 to actor Mickey Gooch Jr.

“Not everyone has to lose their virginity as a teenager,” she told People ahead of the release of her memoir. “People can wait until they’re ready or wait until they’re a little more mature.”

“And I think that could be a positive message. You obviously shouldn’t wait until you’re in your thirties like me, but you shouldn’t feel pressure as a young person.

“Rebel Rising” debuted on April 2.
