Rebel Wilson names actor who took her virginity at age 35

Rebel Wilson reveals in her new memoir that comedian and actor Mickey Gooch Jr. was her first sexual partner at age 35.

“Micks, I know this might be new to you if you’re reading this, but yes, I lost my virginity to you,” she wrote to her former “How to Be Single” co-star on “Rebel Rising “, apparently making the revelation for the first time, according to a copy of the book obtained by the Daily Mail.

Wilson, now 44, also writes that part of the reason she waited so long to have sex was due to her weight issues, adding: “As a big girl, no one would ever really find me sexually attractive.”

The “Pitch Perfect” star shares that her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis motivated her to live in the moment.

“Life is short. I didn’t want to live my life without experiencing sex. Experiencing love,” she wrote.

“I let the universe know that I was finally ready. I was going to feel the fear and do it. I was going to get laid with the next guy who showed up – who also seemed like a suitable marriage candidate.

“I imagined making love and being intimate and it would always be in my head,” she wrote.

“Now I’m someone who lives a lot more in my body. And I love that. Now I have a boyfriend and he’s handsome and rich to boot.

However, the former couple split in September 2015, with a source previously telling Us Weekly: “It’s been difficult for him. They’re still friends, so you never know if they might get back together.

Reflecting on losing her virginity at an older age, Wilson now sees something positive about it.

“Not everyone has to lose their virginity as a teenager,” the “Is’t It Romantic” star recently told People.

“People can wait until they’re ready or wait until they’re a little more mature… Obviously you don’t have to wait until your 30s like I did, but you shouldn’t feel pressure as a young person. »

In February 2023, Wilson confirmed that she had become engaged to jewelry designer Ramona Agruma.

The “Hustle” star recently told People that she explored her sexuality more in her 40s: “I just knew that I was attracted to men, and that was the normal thing.

“I probably started opening up more after my father died and realizing, oh, even though I had seen marriage as a terrible thing and a waste of time, I started opening up to that. And then only years later, meeting women and having feelings for a woman… I just think it’s a sign of the current state of society.
