Two weeks after the release of the Netflix series based on the comedian Richard GaddAfter her experience with a stalker, the woman who allegedly served as her inspiration said she received “death threats and abuse” from people who discovered her identity.
“He uses Baby reindeer stalk me now,” she told the Daily Mailaccusing Gadd of “bullying an older woman on TV for fame and fortune.”
The woman, who the outlet chose not to identify by name, also said she was considering legal action against the actor, claiming he suffered from “main character syndrome.”
“I’m the victim,” she said. “He wrote a damn show about me.”
The woman added: “He always thinks he’s the center of things. I don’t write shows about him or promote him in the media, do I? If he wanted that I’m really anonymous, he could have done it. Gadd should have done it.
