A Justice Department report, released Friday, details systemic issues within the Minneapolis Police Department that it says led to the death of George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man, in police custody.

The report included evidence it said showed the police department discriminated against people because of their race and disability and that officers frequently used excessive force. Investigators also found that the department had failed to address ongoing issues related to discriminatory practices and rogue officers.
