Ravens coach John Harbaugh will not leave Baltimore anytime soon.
The Ravens announced today that they had reached a three -year contract extension with Harbaugh.
Harbaugh, 62, has been the Ravens head coach since 2008. He won the Super Bowl XLVII after the 2012 season and was appointed coach of the NFL year for the 2019 season. He has a record of 172-104 in the regular season and 13-11 in the playoffs.
Baltimore has been as good as any NFL team in the last two regular seasons, going 13-4 and 12-5 and entering the playoffs as solid super Bowl contenders for two years. But the Ravens lost in the divisional tour against the Bills last year and the AFC championship match against the Chiefs the previous year. The extension of the contract shows the confidence of the owner Steve Bisciotti that Harbaugh can get the ravens on the bump in the AFC qualifiers and win another Super Bowl.
