Rasmus Hojlund insists that he is determined to learn difficult moments of Manchester United and to deliver for the club despite reports binding it to the distance from Old Trafford this summer.
The 22 -year -old was struggling in the Premier League with only four goals this season, but he scored against Bilbao athletic in the Europa League on Thursday and he now has six goals in competition this campaign.
“Obviously, there have been difficult times,” said Hojlund. “When you go without objective for many games, I would not say that I have lost self -belief, but you will be a little further down and a little more frustrated.
“These are the difficult times that make you better and you learn a lot. I have always said that I know what this football club is and it’s a lot of pressure, but that’s why I’m here. I want to be on the biggest scene, “added the 22 -year -old.
And Hojlund thinks that Manchester United is improving under Ruben Amorim but admits that, whether or not they win the Europa League, the season “was not good enough”.
“We are very satisfied to be in the final, but that cannot remove the attention all season, because in the country, it was not good enough. Again, we play to win trophies and we are in good position to win a European, ”said Hojlund.
