When Matthew Stafford’s final pass attempt of the 2024 season flew over Puka Nacua’s head down the Rams sideline Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field, a harsh reality began to set in.
It didn’t take long for everyone to start wondering what might happen to Stafford, who turns 37 in February.
“I’m going to talk about my gift,” Stafford said Sunday after the game. “Obviously, I’m proud to be associated with this group, the coaching staff, the front office, the playing group, the training staff, the equipment guys and everyone. It’s been hell of an effort all year to get to this point any time you play like that and to make the playoffs and get a win to go on, every time you fail it’s even harder, but it’s. proud to be associated with this group.
“As far as my future goes, I mean, it’s 30 minutes after our last game, so I’m going to take some time to think about it. I feel like I’m playing really good ball.”
