Rajon Rondo among 116 British students graduated this spring / summer

Almost 20 years after leaving Kentucky University to start his long and successful NBA career, Rajon Rondo is about to receive your university degree.

Rondo, 39announced the school on Thursday. The beginning of May 2025 of the university will take place this Friday and Saturday in Rupp Arena. Including the 33 graduates in December, a total of 149 British students will have graduated during the 2024-25 school year.

Join Rondo as a male basketball players who should graduate Ansley Almonor,, Koby Brea,, Lmaont Butler,, Andrew Carr,, Grant Darbyshire,, Kerr KriisaAnd Jaxson Robinson. Rondo is not the only former British athlete on the pace to obtain his diploma this spring / summer either.

Thanks to the post-eligibility program for British athletics, also known as Cawood Ledford scholarships, the school athletics department “pays for tuition fees and books for students who return to school after completing their eligibility. Since its creation in 1989, more than 160 Wildcats have returned to obtaining the program. ” Rondo, with the football player Chris WestryTwo of the seven former British athletes have benefited from the program.

The UK fall semester in 2024 was the 25th consecutive with a cumulative average of 3.0 or more (3.405). A total of 14 Wildcats will receive their master’s degrees.
