There has been a lot of recent speculation that Tom Brady may soon end his broadcasting career due to his expanded role with the minority-owner Las Vegas Raiders.
Brady, who joined the organization in October, played a significant role in the search for a new head coach and general manager.
The time Brady spends with the Raiders and the restrictions he has in his broadcast job because he is part of a franchise have led to speculation that Brady may hang up his mic after one season as an analyst Fox’s #1 game to spend more time with the Raiders.
However, his agent, Don Yee, told Sports Business Journal that Brady is having so much fun in his broadcasting career that he hopes to fully honor the full 10 years of his contract with the network.
So expect Brady to not have a major day-to-day role with the Raiders, but to remain close to the franchise especially when it comes to making important decisions.
Meanwhile, Brady is preparing to call the Detroit Lions-Washington Commanders divisional playoff game Saturday night. The Lions offensive coordinator, of course, is Ben Johnson who interviewed with the Raiders and is widely considered to be Brady and the team’s first choice.
