Six new faces
After exchanging twice on Friday, the raiders stayed on site with their six choices on Saturday, adding three offensive players and three in defense to top the draft class. Wr of which Thornton Jr. was the first choice of the day, followed by DT Tonka Hemingway, DT JJ PEGUES, QB TOMMY MELLOTT, QB CAM MILLER and LB CODY LINDENBERG.
“The competitiveness of this group is quite unique,” said the director of raiders of university scouting Brandon Yeargan. “Competitiveness, tenacity stands out, especially with some of these end -of -the -round guys we added.”
This is the largest draft of raids since 2007, when the team has also selected 11 players in total. The managing director John Spytek could not be more satisfied not only of the way in which the class met, but the way in which his team worked together to solidify the new group of raiders.
“I felt like the strategy with which we approached it, the way we accomplished was really solid,” said Spytek about her first project as general manager. “Now we’ll just see. There are 32 teams, as I said the other day, who feel good.
