R-Truth returned to WWE Money in the Bank, eliminating John Cena to help Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso to win the main event.
Cena had the match in hand after hit Cody with the undisputed WWE championship when a hooded figure attacked her and hit her with the title. The man removed the mask to reveal himself as R-Truth.
The truth left through the crowd, letting Cody hit the Rhodes cross on Cena for victory.

USO and Logan Paul were outside after Paul hit a Stembe-Basse-Poule on USO through the announcement table.
Truth announced that he had been released by WWE on Sunday, June 1. It was later reported that the Truth contract with WWE had not been renewed. Fans sang “We Want Truth” on WWE Raw, WWE NXT and WWE Smackdown throughout the week.
