Inglewood, California – The Los Angeles loader receiver Quentin Johnston left the Sofi stadium field on a cart after taking a big blow on the third game of a pre -season match on Saturday.
Johnston has a concussion, said coach Jim Harbaugh after the 23-22 charge defeat against Los Angeles RAMS.
Johnston took a hard blow from the safety of the Rams Tanner Ingle during the series of opening the match while walking a deep road on the Rams key line for a pass from Justin Herbert.
Johnston landed flat on his back with both arms stretched, remaining motionless for several moments. The RAMS medical staff rushed to him first and immediately reported aid.
“Quentin has undergone a concussion, and it’s never a good thing,” said Harbaugh. “But the way it looked at the time, seemed to have been much worse. And he was taken (in the hospital) for more evaluation, but he was talking. He remembered the room. He was moving well. So, in this way, it’s a good thing.”
The players of the two teams kneel while the medical staff took care of Johnston, the choice of charge in the first round of TCU in 2023. Johnston finally moved his arms and legs and sat before held under his own power and head to the cart that brought him from the field.
Johnston achieved 55 catches for 711 yards and eight affected last season. He should start for the charge this season.
