Only a few hours after the eagerly awaited appearance of the Ve Day with a caumé of surprise family from Wales, King Charles and Queen Camilla took a break from their weekly celebration to mark the second anniversary of their coronation. While the couple unveiled their coronation portraits in the National Gallery, Camilla was inspired by another queen with a particularly royal (and invaluable) choice in jewelry. While paying tribute to the fallen soldiers of the Second World War with a coquelicot red V -neck dress, the Royal brought out a spit rarely seen worth $ 45,000 which previously belonged to fire Queen Elizabeth II.

In the photos taken from the visit of the National Gallery of Camilla and Charles, the queen was very smiling while she showed the play of accent Bejeweled. Dressed in a scarlet long sleeve dress with pleated shoulders and a zipped design, Camilla pinned the spindle in the shape of a cross adorned on its left side. According to Steven Stone Jewelers diamond experts, the Raspberry Pip -Pip spindle – which was one of the favorite parts of Queen Elizabeth in her private collection – is fixed with diamonds and topazes, accentuating her Georgian transverse shape. The jewelers also revealed that the historic piece would be previously held by the grandmother of Queen Elizabeth II, the Countess of Strathmore.

Although it was rarely seen in public appearances before he was in possession of Queen Camilla, she has since worn on several special occasions, starting with the Royals Christmas service in 2023, as well as a service at St. Mary Magdalen church at the start of this year. Estimated worth £ 40,000, around $ 45,000, the Raspberry Pip spindle is far from the most expensive jewelry piece in the royal family, but it seems that it also has a particular meaning for Camilla.
