It’s no secret that Samsung’s next flagship smartphone lineup, the Galaxy S25 series, will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, thanks to all the leaks we’ve had about it, a huge relief for those who don’t want to see an Exynos chipset inside for fear of lower performance. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding this. Well, until now.
Yesterday, Samsung revealed the date of the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, where it will launch the Galaxy S25 series. The South Korean tech giant also spoke about it on X (formerly Twitter). Qualcomm @Snapdragon account on the platform reposted this tweet saying “See you there.” This confirms that the Galaxy S25 lineup will feature Snapdragon chipsets.
So, if you don’t trust leaks and rumors, here’s the proof for you. While there is still no confirmation on which Snapdragon chipset the Galaxy S25 series will use, there is no other option for Samsung other than the Snapdragon 8 Elite or a ‘For Galaxy‘, which will be even better. Samsung will unveil the range on January 22, 2025 and you can already pre-book it.
