UFC veteran Alexander Volkov had his hair done between rounds before beating Sergei Pavlovich in the co-main event in Saudi Arabia.

Volkov claimed victory on points after three rounds in the all-Russian heavyweight bout in Riyadh, with judges scoring the match 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28 in his favor.

Fans were left perplexed when they saw the 35-year-old combing his hair between the two intervals while following his coaches’ instructions.

This bizarre incident, however, did not affect his performance in the ring as he dominated the fight, having doubled Pavlovich’s total in terms of total strikes and significant hits.

Fans reacted on social media, saying: “Caring about appearance is now part of the fight.”

Volkov was seen doing his hair between intervals of the three-round fight.

Tensions flared at the end when a bloodied Pavlovich pushed Volkov before walking away.

Another joked: “Volkov has his trainer, cutter and hairdresser working on him between rounds. Busy busy busy.’

A third fan posted on X: “It’s called ‘The Corner man special’ a facial and haircut.”

“Getting your hair done between rounds is a huge main character vibe,” said a fourth.

Tensions flared at the end of the fight when a bloodied Pavlovich pushed Volkov before walking away.

Reacting to the incident during his post-fight interview, Volkov said: “I don’t know. I just came to say thank you for this great fight.

“He was angry because I was fighting with him. but it was nothing bad for him, it was just to make everyone like our fight.

The two men are friends and have trained together on several occasions, with eyebrows raised when they both agreed to fight.
