Daredevil is back in the MCU.
Disney has released the trailer for the upcoming Marvel television series, “Daredevil: Born Again,” which will be released on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.
The Street Level Marvel series will be the official reintroduction of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and his characters from the original Marvel television series that launched on Netflix. The last time MCU fans saw Daredevil, he was meeting Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk, in the 2022 Disney+ series “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.” He also appeared briefly in the Disney+ series “Echo” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home” as Peter Parker’s lawyer. “Born Again” will be the first TV series starring Cox as Daredevil after his Netflix series ended after three seasons, and it brings back several other key characters like Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher.
The logline for “Daredevil: Born Again” reads: “Matt Murdock (Cox), a blind attorney with heightened abilities, fights for justice through his bustling law firm, while former boss mafia boss Wilson Fisk (D’Onofrio) pursues his own political efforts in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, the two men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
Starring Cox, D’Onofrio and Bernthal, the series brings back Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page; Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson; Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna and Wilson Bethel as Poindexter. The cast also includes Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva and Jeremy Earl.
Showrunner Dario Scardapane serves as executive producer alongside Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Sana Amanat, Chris Gary, Christopher Ord, Matthew Corman, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. Episodes are directed by Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, David Boyd and Benson and Moorhead.
