Pundit appoints three prospects that could meet a need for “sub-radar” for crows
Much of the discussion on the biggest needs of Ravens, this offseason has focused on the offensive line, the Rusher Edge, security and the cornerback.
However, the interior defensive line has also become a priority due to the retirement of Michael Pierce and Brent Urban remaining a free agent.
Alex Ballentine de Bleacher Report has appointed the most important position “under the radar” the most important which need to enter the project, noting that the Ravens “are slightly thinner than they are used” on the interior defensive line.
Ravens have a solid trio in the player of Bowler Nnamdi, Travis Jones and Broderick Washington, but another threat, the depth and an infusion of young people are necessary. Jones, who was selected by the Ravens in the third round in 2022, is the only defensive tackle that Baltimore has written in the past four years.
Fortunately, the interior defensive line is undoubtedly the deepest position group of the project. Ballentine appointed Darrick Harmon from Oregon, Kenneth Grant from Michigan and Alfred Collins from Texas as potential targets.
“Adoyer Derrick Harmon in the first round would give them another disruptive option,” wrote Ballentine. “Kenneth Grant would be a replacement more one by one for Pierce. He could place himself like the rotation nose plate to spell Jones very early. Alfred Collins is a more realistic target of day 2 with the length to potentially play several points.”
