Proof That The Bond Between Tom Hanks And Tim Allen Goes To Infinity And Beyond

Since being cast as the title character in the 1995 classic toy storythe couple developed a close friendship.

“Tom and I have really become very close friends since toy story 1“, said Allen during a November 16 appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show. “He’s a very different person to me.”

At first, however, the friendship wasn’t quite smooth, as Allen lightheartedly pointed out that Hanks would eat off his plate.

“I come from a family [where] you don’t do that,” Allen joked. “Tom is in the middle of the first toy story and say, “Oh, it’s so much fun working with you.” And I’m like, ‘Those are actually my fries. That’s why they’re here in this area.'”
