Hundreds of Harvard University graduate students staged a walkout during commencement after the school said it would not allow 13 students who participated in protests on the Gaza campus to graduate.
Weeks earlier, pro-Palestinian protesters set up an encampment near the school, similar to other nationwide campus protests that began at Columbia University in April.
Protesters are calling on universities to boycott businesses and individuals with ties to Israel amid that country’s ongoing war.
