William and Harry often brought flowers to the grave of the fiery of Wales in Althorp House, the ancestral house of his Spencer family, said Stoos. Diana is buried on the oval island in the middle of the Oval lake in Althorp, a distant location nestled in the Althorp Park pleasure garden.

“His distance is entirely intentional,” wrote Diana Earl Charles Spencer’s brother in his book Althorp: the story of an English houseAdding that the oval lake is “a buffer against mad and macabre interventions, the thick mud presenting another line of defense”. The tomb of Diana is prohibited to the public and only accessible by boat.

“William and Harry were obviously devoted to their mother Diana and would have been definitively going and chose flowers for her in Highgrove park (King Charles’ country house),” said Stoors. “We are also aware that Harry and William often take flowers in Diana’s tomb in Althorp. They certainly mark Mother’s Day for her. ”

Spencer said he was important to him that his nephews William and Harry can visit their mother whenever they liked in privacy, he said. “I think it is very important for them to be there with her,” said Spencer People. “Fortunately, it is very quiet here, and they can come and come as they wish when they wish. And it’s very charming for me to know it.”

William brought the wife Kate Middleton to visit Diana’s tomb, and Harry detailed by bringing the wife Meghan Markle to Althorp for the first time in 2022, at the time of the 25th anniversary of his death. Write in Memoirs in 2023 SpareHarry wrote that he and Meghan needed a “little push” from his uncle to cross the mud as they rowed on a boat to the island.

“No visit to this place has never been easy, but this one … The twenty-fifth anniversary,” he wrote. “And the first time of Meg. Finally, I brought the girl from my dreams home to meet mom. ”

“We hesitated, embraced, then I went first,” continued Harry. “I placed flowers on the grave. Meg gave me a moment, and I spoke to my mother in my head, I told him that I was missing, I asked her advice and clarity. Feeling that Meg could also want a moment, I was going around the hedge, scannais the pond. When I came back, Meg was kneeling, eyes closed.

He added: “I asked, when we returned to the boat, for which she prayed. Clarity, she said. And advice. ”

In addition to visiting Althorp – which would be easier for William Now than Harry, who moved to the United States in 2020 – said Stoos, speaking on behalf of Fruity King, that “there would also be cards. We have seen in recent years that William and Kate and his family still often write cards on his mother on special occasions. ”

In 2021, the Palais de Kensington shared that “every year on Mother’s Day, (Prince) George, (Princess) Charlotte and (Prince) Louis made cards by remembering their grandmother, Diana, for William.” Tearing George, then 7 years old, wrote on his card: “Dear Granny Diana, Happy Mother’s Day. I love you very much and I always think of you. I send you a lot of love. ”

Charlotte, who was only 5 years old at the time, wrote: “I think of you on Mother’s Day. I love you very much. ” From her father William, she added: “Dad you are missing. A lot of love.”

Louis, who was only 2 years old, was too young to write his own card.

As a former Royal Gardner, Stoks shared that “the Royals tend to be a little more traditional in that they will give flowers of their own gardens, and these could be a bunch of jaws at a small point of mixing flowers, normally with the smell and the color that were important.” (For what it is worth, Diana’s favorite flower was forgetting.)

From Queen Camilla, Stoks said that on Mother’s Day, “Camilla will undoubtedly be flowers gifted with her daughter’s families (Laura Lopes) and wires (Tom Parker Bowles), or perhaps, again, they can opt for plants that can be appreciated in the house for a few days and then taken in the garden for planting. If families are at home, they will probably opt for a private lunch and share alone and share alone, which came to them for a private moment.

Before the death of her mother Queen Elizabeth on September 8, 2022, a “very sentimental” Charles would have bought “organic flowers”, said StooS.

“The king would also have always sent a map and highlight flowers to his mother,” he added. “He is a very sentimental and personal man, so he would have thought about what he wanted to give him. She is an incredibly generous and loving person. He has a lot of heart and soul with his family. They would also have been organic flowers, because it is something that is very important to him. ”

There is no doubt that Harry will celebrate Meghan for Mother’s Day in the United States on Sunday. In March, when the United Kingdom scored on Sunday on Sunday March 30, Meghan published a photo of a citrus pie – with slices of orange and edible flowers – on its Instagram, writing alongside “our family tradition. Maternal Sunday in the United Kingdom ”, alongside a lemon emoji.
