“I also have my son here, so I am on the best behavior, but 43 years that it happened and I want George to have an evening in a big competition, these memories are really important to create and bring him back is important.
“I am open to whom they support, I am partial but they come to the games with Villa, so it will probably be villa, but I left the other two at home watching on television. We will see who they support.
Prince William, who is also the president of the FA, predicted that the UAI Emery team would win a 2-1 victory in the first leg to stimulate their hopes to reach the semi-finals.
However, he admitted to having been “quite terrified” before facing the French champions with PSG having impressed throughout the Champions League to date.
“It’s been a time to come, so it’s a big match, 43 years that it happened, but I am confident and excited by the perspective,” he told TNT Sports. “I wear all my clothes and pieces and I made my routines.
Prince William was also seen in the tunnel before kick -off and hugged Aston Villa and the striker of England Marcus Rashford while the players headed for the locker room after the heating.

“I was looking for a club to support, and all my friends at school were Manchester United fans or Chelsea fans.
“I didn’t want to follow the ordinary teams, I wanted to have a more mid-table team, which could give me the most emotional roller coaster.
“To be honest, now, looking back, it was a bad idea – I could have been easier!”
“Aston Villa has always had a great story. I have friends who support Aston Villa and one of the first games of the FA Cup where I went was Bolton against Aston Villa, it was a semi-final.
“It was fantastic, I sat with all the fans with my red Beanie, and I was sitting with all the brummie fans and I had a good time.
“It was the atmosphere, the camaraderie, and I really felt that there was something with which I could connect.
Curiously, William’s interest in the club intensified after a slowdown in their fortune.
“ I kept an eye on the villa from that moment, but I did not get too involved at the start ”, he told the Sun. “But the villa relegated to the championship in 2016 aroused me even more, strangely.

Prince William visited the team last month and was seen talking to Morgan Rogers
“A few years earlier, we had finished sixth under Martin O’Neill and now we were not even in the Premier League. I am not sure that I became much more interested at that time, but it could be due to the climb of the smartphone.
“I had grown up watching Ceefax on television or the rear pages of the newspapers, and if you did not have to put back, you were a little out of the loop.
“But now you can get so much data and follow how your team is going all the time and there are so much more discussions and debates. This is how my passion really increased.
