Prince William, Kate Middleton have asked Harry, Meghan to bring their children to visit: expert

Prince William and Kate Middleton have reportedly asked Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to bring their children with them on their next visit to the UK, according to a royal expert.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have had a years-long rift with the Sussexes, but it appears the pair are looking to bury the hatchet once and for all.

And according to royal author Tom Quinn, Princess Kate was all for seeing Archie and Lilibet in England, but the Duchess of Sussex turned down the offer.

“There is no way Meghan will bring the children to the UK,” Quinn told the Mirror.

“William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the kids and that the two couples and their families try to reconcile, but that suggestion is going nowhere so far.”

The last time Archie and Lilibet visited the UK was during the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.

Markle, for her part, last returned to England for the late Her Majesty’s funeral in September of that year.

The Post has contacted Kensington Palace for comment.

The couple did not bring their children with them due to security concerns, with the Sussexes having been deprived of Britain’s taxpayer-funded security protection.

This now means both men will have to pay out of pocket for their security during their visit to Harry’s home soil.

Yet it appears Harry and his wife have no qualms about offering help to the royal family at a time of great distress, and a reconciliation is “100% possible”, according to a royal expert.

Harry and Meghan are hoping for a temporary return to the UK royal fold and have reportedly contacted William and Kate to make this happen.

“A reconciliation with Harry and Meghan is entirely possible, 100 percent,” King Charles’ former butler Grant Harrold exclusively told the Post.

“I can believe, without a doubt, that Harry will be in contact with Kate and William and offer help – whether they accept it or not is a very different question, but I honestly believe that Harry would have contacted Meghan personally and she.”

“Unfortunately, it’s times like this that bring families together and blood is thicker than water,” Harrold added.

The Post revealed in February that Charles was toying with the idea of getting Harry back on a temporary basis, despite the Duke being kept out of ongoing succession talks.

Following the Princess of Wales’ shock cancer announcement this month, Harry and Meghan said they hoped Middleton would respect her privacy during her treatment.

“We wish Kate and her family health and healing, and hope they can do so privately and peacefully,” the two said in a statement.

It is understood the duo, who left royal life in 2020 and moved across the pond to Montecito, California, made contact with the Prince and Princess of Wales “privately” after Middleton’s announcement .
