Prince William gave an update on Kate Middleton’s health

Prince William’s tour of the British coast is coming to an end, but before heading home he gave royal fans a brief update on Kate Middleton as she continues to rest and recover from chemotherapy preventive. Today, the Prince of Wales stopped by St. Mary’s Community Hospital in the Isles of Scilly and gave a staff member an overview of Kate’s condition as she continues to postpone her royal functions. William is back at work and finishing a quick two day trip to Cornwall.

“Can I ask how Princess Kate is?” asked hospital administrator Tracy Smith in a video shared by Sky News.

“She’s fine, thank you,” William shared.

“Charming, and the children too?” Smith continued.

“The children are very jealous that I am here and that they are not there too,” concluded William.

People notes that the area has special meaning for Kate and William, as they often take the children to Tresco and when he was young, William spent time there with his brother Harry and his parents, King Charles and the late Princess Diana.

“Will you bring them later in the year, perhaps?” Smith asked, to which William replied that there might be an opportunity for the family to take a trip in the future, but that it would be a private getaway and not part of another royal appointment. Prince William’s visit allowed him to learn more about healthcare and the challenges the hospital faces due to its unique island location.

William’s trip to the Isles of Scilly began with a quick stop at St. Mary’s Harbor, where he was seen picking up pastries for Kate, George, Charlotte and Louis.

“My family is very upset because I am here without them,” he said as he greeted onlookers at the port, according to the Daily Mail. “The kids will kill me if I don’t come home later.”

William has returned to royal duties since Kate’s announcement on March 22. Sources close to the family say that although he is slowly returning to his normal schedule, his wife and family come first.

“William is prioritizing giving her all the time she needs to get better and support, especially to the children,” a close source said. People.
