Prince William and Prince George have a shared love of football and went to Paris to engage in a game that William called a “big problem” for him.
The father and the son have long linked to William’s obsession for the Aston Villa football club, a team he has supported for decades and a fandom he has now transmitted to his eldest son. George, as well as his brothers and sisters, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, are on their Easter break on April 24, and it seems that William was eager to take the time to participate in a special link with his elder.

Kate Middleton stayed in the United Kingdom with Charlotte and Louis while William and George went to Paris for the match, who-unfortunately for the two future kings-Saw Villa lost against Paris St-Germain (PSG) with a score of 3-1.
Before the match, William predicted a 2-1 villa victory, and explained to TNT Sports why he had decided to come to Paris and to bring George: “I thought:” It’s been 43 years that something like it happened in my generation as a fan of villa, and I want George to discover an evening far from home in a big European competition. I hope it’s not 43 years the next time it happens! “(William refers to the 1983 match when Villa lost against Juventus; it’s been a long time since Villa played a match of this magnitude in the Champions League.)
Time with George, William added: “I think these memories are really important to create, and bring him tonight is a big problem for me”, by The telegraph.

When asked if it was a guy evening, William added, according to the BBC, “well, I also have my son here, so I’m on my best behavior.”
William has admitted in the past to hide on the villa’s electronic babibllards for hours – and even how, sometimes, although anonymous – and also went to a deeply superstitious sports fan, even changing George, Charlotte and Louis to different rooms in their four -bedroom house in Windsor, Adelaïde Cottage, if villa is losing.
The future king said before the match on Wednesday that he was “quite terrified. It’s been a while to come, so it’s a big match. Forty -three years since the last time it happened – a big European evening for Villa. I am nervous but I am confident but also excited by the whole perspective. ”
He added: “I wear all my lucky clothes and songs and I made all my routines, so I hope it will be lucky tonight.”

While Kate, Charlotte and Louis were not there in person, he told TNT Sports that he predicted that they would look from my home: “I left the other two at home, probably looking at this evening, then we will wait and see who they support,” he said.
He does not force a villa fandom shared on his children, but, with a father as passionate about a team as William, the affinity probably comes naturally.
“I am generally very open to whom they support, but obviously, I am a little biased,” he said. “But they also come to matches with Villa. They will probably support Villa.”

During an interview in 2015 with the Birmingham MailWilliam revealed his story of Aston Villa origin, saying at the point of sale: “A long time ago at school, I entered football.
“I wanted to have a team more in the middle of the table that could give me more emotional roller coaster moments,” he added. “I have my friends who support Aston Villa, and one of the first games of the FA Cup to which I went was Bolton against Aston Villa in 2000. It was the atmosphere, the camaraderie, and I really felt that there was something with which I could connect.”
