Prince Harry was in London this week to attend the court on Tuesday and Wednesday when he calls a decision on his security in the United Kingdom. And today, it appeared that by leaving the Royal Courts of Justice after the two -day hearing, he spoke with the British newspaper Daily telegraph as well as People review.
The newspaper reported that Harry believes that his police protection had been withdrawn to try to prevent Meghan from leaving royal life. The publication quotes Harry saying that “his worst fears were confirmed” after secret evidence entered in court and that “people would be shocked by what is retained”. Parties of the hearing were held in private for security reasons and therefore not reported.
The Duke presented this case for the first time in September 2021 after a decision was made in 2020 by the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVE) that when Harry fell as a working Royal, his security would be determined on a case -by -case basis. The prince wants the guarantee of police protection and previously declared that he did not feel able to bring his family to the United Kingdom without it. THE Daily telegraph said Harry described himself as “exhausted” and “overwhelmed” by the process.
THE Telegraph is one of the few groups of national newspapers against which the prince has not brought legal action since he took charge as a working royal. In December 2023, he won a payment in a deduction case by phone against the newspapers of the Mirror group, which is now called Reach and now also has the Express newspapers. In January of this year, he settled a case with apologies for “serious intrusion” of publishers of THE Sun Newspaper, which belongs to the same parent company as Time. And a case against publishers of Daily mail should be tried in January 2026.
