Prince Harry spoke of the withdrawal of his police protection in Great Britain even outside the court when he told the Telegraph that he was very “difficult to swallow” for him when his safety had been withdrawn. He said he would have trouble forgiven because his worst fears were confirmed that police protection had been withdrawn to prevent him, he and Meghan, from leaving Great Britain to start a new life.
Prince Harry’s security was withdrawn as he withdrew from his royal functions in 2020. Harry approached the court, trying to overthrow the decision of the Interior Ministry. Last year, the High Court of London judged that the decision was legal, but a court of appeal agreed to hear the case after the lawyers of Harry applied themselves directly.
Harry was in the United Kingdom for a two-day appeal hearing on the case. While he appeared before the court which pressure for security in Great Britain, an incident came to his aid because he had to rush out of the field during an explosion of fans.
The Duke and the Duchess considered the withdrawal of their security as a way to force them in Great Britain, because visiting the United Kingdom as a security unreachers would not be sure for them.
Security funded by full -time taxpayers is offered to the king and the queen, the prince and the princess of Wales and their three children. A “tailor-made” process has been created for Duke and his family, forcing them to give 30 days of any notice to go to the United Kingdom so that the ministry can weigh and decide to grant protection.
“ People would be shocked to see the evidence ”
Prince Harry said he was deeply unhappy with certain evidence that he had heard during the closed sessions of the court. “People would be shocked by what is selected,” he said, adding that “his worst fears were confirmed by all legal disclosure in this case and that it is really sad”. He said he was exhausted and overwhelmed by the legal process that has been taking place for several years.
