India has brought the curtains back to a remarkable campaign to the World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2025, finishing at the top of the medal table with a total of 134 medals, including 45 gold, 40 silver and 49 bronze. With athletes offering exceptional performances through athletics events, the host nation has shown its growing force, depth and determination in para-athletics on the world scene.
The last day of the Grand Prix witnessed several exciting moments. In the female event 200m T35 at 38, Rhiannon Clarke in Australia won gold, while Margarita Goncharova of the athletes of Para Neutral took money. The Preti PAL of India, which had previously obtained money in the competition, added another medal to its name by winning bronze.
The legendary Australian athlete Vanessa Low has climbed in gold in the leap in feminine long T38, T44, T61 with an impressive jump of 4.96 meters. Zhanana Fekolina claimed Silver, while Bhavani Munniyandi in India won a well -deserved bronze with a jump of 3.51 meters. In the male weight throw F40 – F41, Denis Gnezdilov, athletes of para neutral, took gold, followed by AIAL Sivtsev with money, while Ravi Rangoli of India secured bronze.
The male event 200m T35 saw Dmitrii Safronov of para neutral athletes take gold with a time of 24.20 seconds. The Vinay of India won the money in 29.58 seconds, and Abhishek Babasaheb Jadhav won bronze with 31.55 seconds. In the 200m male T37, para neutral athletes showed exceptional sprital prowess with a clean podium scan.

India celebrated a memorable moment with a podium scan in the F11 – F20 of the male weight, while Sagar won gold with an 11.47 -meter throw, followed by Janka Singh with money at 9.91 meters, and Balaji Rajendran with bronze at 9.89 meters. In the feminine long jump T20 – T37, Irina Sapanzha won gold with a 5.35 -meter jump, while Valentina took the money at 5.16 meters and Bhuvi Agarwal in India obtained bronze with 4.16 meters.
In the Masculine Weight Lancer event F33 – F34, Sarvarbek and Husan d’Ouzbekistan won gold and bronze respectively, while Devershee in India has earned money. The 200m male T44 saw the MIT Bharatbhai Silver Patel with a timing of 26.68 seconds, while Ankur also obtained a silver medal in its classification with a time of 31.23 seconds. In the 200m T61 at 64 male, Yuma Tamaki from Japan claimed gold with a 24.16 -meter throw, while Pranav Prashant of India obtained money with 24.75 meters and Naresh won bronze.
The domination of India in the field events continued with a clean scanning in the launch of the female disc F56 – F57, where Fatima, Suman Bala and Asha Jalandar brought back gold, silver and bronze respectively. In the male weight throw F35 – F37, Kudratilokhon d’Ouzbekistan claimed gold with a 14.89 -meter throw, Alan Kokuity won the silver with 14.68 meters and Albert of the athletes of Para neutral bronze.
India concluded the event on a glorious note with another podium sweep in the male event 5000m T11 – T12, while Sharath put in gold, Saurabh claimed the silver and Ankur brought the bronze home.
The performance of the last day not only cited India’s position at the top of the medal counting, but also reaffirmed the emergence of the country as a world power in para-athletics.
