The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival concluded its last day and its last weekend on Sunday, April 20, which coincided Easter.
Many festival-goers and even artists have been seen wearing rabbit ears throughout the Polo Club Empire, who saw temperatures slightly warmer, but nothing as hot as the first weekend. Although there were more surprise guests overall last weekend, there were still a few notables this last day.
Post Malone interpreted his country as a Sunday fence with “Better Now”, “Frall Apart” and “Circles”, but he also welcomed two special guests this weekend, one of which did not do. The weekend Sunday crowd was treated to a performance with Jelly Roll for “Losers” and Ed Sheeran for “Sunflower”.
Megan Thee Stallion also returned to close the third day for a crowd crowded on the main scene, fans extending almost on the outskirts of the outdoor scene. It was well deserved: the female rapper brought a classic coachella performance on Sunday evening, with tight choreography, incredible work of light and so much energy. The performance was simply fun. It was joined by a massive snake accessory during “Hiss”; The crowd became electrified during “Mamushi”; Not a soul was not hitting during the “wild” oh-classical.
One of the most emotional performances of the two weekend came from the country rocker and rapper Shaboozey, who warned by taking the sight of all the fans who had come to see his main afternoon scene.
“I see many more people here than last weekend,” he told the crowd. Then he told them that the first time he came to Coachella was years ago as a fan, and now, here he was on the main scene, interpreting his mixture of country, hip hop, Americana and rock.
“It changed my life, honestly,” he said, while his voice was cracked and he retained tears.

The crowd rugged with approval while he continued with a heavy set of countries with his support group, which, like Shaboozey, was all dressed in matching brown Western equipment. The 45 -minute sets included songs like “Last of My Kind”, “Annabelle” and new music from her next luxury album. The show ended with its greatest success, “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”, which, like “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks and “I Love This Bar” by Toby Keith, has become a classic singer bar song. His fans sang with the rising star, who smiled from one ear to the other while he danted, sung and closed his show.
“This is the most incredible show I have ever played,” he said.
One of the most important Latin acts to perform this year has obtained the last gold hour of the festival on the Coachella stage. Junior H opened his performance with vintage images of himself presenting his first days, then mixing part of his more recent music. His set was slightly shorter than last week because he did not bring out Peso Pluma and Tito double P for the end. However, he played some of his successes, including “MiĆ©ntele” and “You number”.

Perhaps one of the most creative productions and performances was led by Ginger Root in the Sonora’s tent. The group’s show has balanced audio and visuals to produce a unique experience that is not seen on the stages of the festival, or elsewhere, moreover. Although there are only three members on stage with instruments, the unofficial addition of David, a character dressed in an all-round combination, also turned the group on stage. Live images are then filtered through an analog camcorder to live monitors, but it does not only capture the moment; He adds Flair. David’s camera work integrates several techniques, such as zoom, rotation and other unorthodox techniques which parallel of cinematographic art. It seems almost choreographed, and whether or not it was impressive.

The musical style of Ginger Root is directed by the visionary Cameron Lew, which mixes with understanding music with keyboards and large paintings, while Dylan Hovis adds a bass of funky and jazzy, and the drummer Matt Carney holds a thunder and dominant tempo. Ginger Root looks like what would happen if the elements of video game beats and the independent soul gathered. However, the group described itself as an “soul of an aggressive elevator”. The trio setlist was popular among the crowded sound tent and had fans that growl towards “All Night”, “Only You” and “Loretta”.
Earlier in the day, the beaches went on stage at the Gobi tent with an eccentric set that makes the independent dance music you play with your friends during a road trip. They played “cigarette”, “Jocelyn” and “Everything is boring” for swinging and dance fans. The Canadian comrades are each of the rock stars in its own right, adding a layer of chemistry to music and their live presentation.

Muni Long delivered an intimate and sensual whole evoking images of Roman fashion. She, her backup singers and dancers were dressed in all the golden toges with a giant lighting with acrylic nails. The R&B singer, who spoke of the challenges of being a black woman in show business, made sure to represent her proud identity with all the dancers, singers and comrades of black support group. Long also welcomed American on stage for a “Thing 1” cover and made other tubes such as “Slow Grind”, “HRS & HRS” and “Ruined Me”.
Soft Play fans at the Sonora’s tent, who hoped for a surprise appearance of Keanu Reeves may have been a little disappointed, but at least they have always been entitled to the same guest appearance of his British Rockers colleagues Bob Vylan for “One More Day will not hurt”.

At the end of the night in Sonora’s tent, the stripper of the electric duo brought the energy properly when it was necessary. The Pair of Detroit delivered performance at 9 p.m. filled with hyperpop, dances and flashing lights. Songs like “So What If I’m a Freak” gave life to the crowd, Tatiana Schwaninger serving as a perfect woman for her songs.
Kraftwerk also conducted another late evening performance in the Mojave tent. The electronic group – often recognized to be pioneers of the genre – has given an emblematic performance to a crowd filled with loyalists and beginners. It was difficult to move away, whether hypnotic music or outfits (the quartet wore enlightening combinations) that captivated your attention.
