The FDA has issued reminders for more than 4,000 bags from our family garden which have been poorly labeled as decaffeinated, according to an opinion published by the agency on March 13.

“Part of the production of our Café Family crosses City Ground has been poorly labeled as decaffeinated,” said the FDA in the opinion.
The poorly labeled coffee has been distributed to 15 states – mainly in the Midwest – through the distributor distributor Spartannash Company, according to the advice.
The poorly labeled coffee boxes were distributed and sold in Colorado, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
Our family company Coffee and Spartannash did not immediately return the requests for comments from Business Insider on Saturday. Spartannash told USA Today in a statement that consumer safety is its “top priority”.
“We published the recall on March 13 immediately after being informed by our supplier that the product had been poorly labeled,” the company said in the press release. “All the products recalled have already been removed from store shelves and destroyed before the FDA classification of the recall earlier this week.”
Our family said that a “Lot Code” of its flavor as Décafa Cerise de City, which has a date on August 3, had been recalled.
The Michigan -based company encouraged customers who bought the Decaf with a bad label to return it to the store for a refund or a replacement.
“We are engaging in your health and safety, and we follow the best practices to ensure the quality and safety of the products we sell,” said the company. “We apologize for any drawback that it could cause.”
