Former NFL running back Frank Gore violently dragged a naked woman down the hallway of a hotel in Atlantic City, police say.
Cops said Gore “forcibly” grabbed the 28-year-old woman by the hair and carried her away, TMZ reported.
The incident happened in the early morning hours of July 31 at the Tropicana Casino and Resort, Atlantic City police said in an alert.
“The victim showed no signs of injury and no complaint was filed at the time,” police said. “However, a subsequent investigation resulted in Franklin Gore being charged with common assault in connection with the domestic violence incident.”
A hearing is scheduled for October, according to TMZ.
Gore, 39, played 16 seasons in the NFL, spending his senior year with the Jets in 2020. He ranks third in NFL history with 16,000 career rushing yards.
