Police search vehicle in Cohasset hit-and-run that killed dog

Police believe the vehicle involved is a white 2011-22 Jeep Grand Cherokee with chrome accents and damage to the right front.
Cohasset police are looking for a vehicle that hit and killed a dog on Monday morning.
Police responded to the intersection of Pond Street and Clay Spring Road to a vehicle accident report involving a dog. The dog was pronounced dead at the scene, while the unknown driver fled, police said.
Cohasset Police believe the vehicle involved is a white 2011-22 Jeep Grand Cherokee with chrome accents and damage to the right front. The department also shared surveillance footage of the area in hopes the public can recognize the vehicle.
Anyone with information about the vehicle or the incident as a whole is asked to call Cohasset Police Natural Resources Officer Josh Kimball at 781-383-1055 ext. 6125.
