Police say at least five gunmen involved in Sacramento shooting

Police say at least five gunmen were involved in the Sacramento shooting Sunday that killed six people and injured scores more.

Establishment media widely reported the Sunday morning incident as a “mass shooting,” only for California media to admit on Wednesday it was more likely a shooting.

Police have now clarified that it was a shooting linked to gang violence.

FOX News reports that police believe at least five gunmen were involved in the incident.

Sacramento police noted, “It is increasingly clear that gang violence is at the center of this tragedy. While we cannot provide specifics on the precise gang affiliation of the individuals involved, gangs and gang violence are inseparable from the events leading up to these shootings.

President Joe Biden called for more gun control at the time the Sacramento shooting was described as a “mass shooting,” and other pro-gun control leaders — local and national — made similar calls.
